Heating up cold cables

Most of our current power supplies models are shipped with flat black DC cables.* Often times, during transport in cold temperatures, the cables can become rigid and difficult to work with. In order to facilitate the installment of the cables of your new power supply you may choose to wait until they naturally warm up to room temperature. If you do not wish to wait, one simple and relatively fast solution to gently heat them up is to use warm air from a hair dryer. Make sure to hold the hair dryer at a minimum distance of 20 cm from the cables and keep blowing warm air on them up until they soften up and become more pliable.

* except the ATX 24-pin cable.
